About Us

Hope Harbor for Families is a woman-led nonprofit based in Scottsdale, Arizona, founded in 2025 by Stephanie Labriola. Created to address homelessness among women with children, we focus on preventing family separation caused by housing instability while providing safe, structured transitional housing that keeps families together.

Our program combines secure housing, employment requirements, childcare access, and a rent-return savings model to promote financial rebuilding. By adding transitional units with Section 8 housing, we ensure sustainability while helping families achieve permanent housing, independence, and long-term stability.

Our Commitment to Safe Housing and Self-Sufficiency

Our mission is to provide safe housing for women with children experiencing homelessness while supporting employment, childcare access, and financial rebuilding. We exist to prevent family separation caused by housing instability and to create structured pathways that promote long-term stability and responsible independence.
Support means offering structured guidance, accountability, and access to employment resources within a secure environment. Families receive stable housing for up to one year while building budgeting habits and maintaining consistent work, strengthening their ability to transition confidently into permanent housing.

Safety ensures parents and children remain together in secure, family-centered housing. Independence is achieved through employment requirements and our rent-return savings model, which prepares families for permanent housing while promoting financial responsibility, workforce participation, and long-term self-reliance.
